A complication after you get home: what happens?

A successful dental trip doesn't end at your return flight. The real test is what happens if a problem arises after you're home. Here is the protocol Tunisia Smile follows so you're never left alone.

A complication after you get home: what happens?

A coordinator available 7 days a week

Your coordinator remains your WhatsApp point of contact after return — evenings and weekends included. A photo, a video, a description: they direct you to the right practitioner within hours, not days.

Partner dentist in your city

For real emergencies (abscess, bleeding, broken prosthesis), a network of partner dentists in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany takes over. The emergency consultation is paid for by the Tunisian clinic, not by you.

Return flight covered

If the incident requires surgical revision in Tunisia under warranty, your round-trip flight is refunded by the clinic — on receipt. This must be written in black and white in your warranty contract.

What really triggers a return trip

Nine times out of ten, a post-op issue is resolved remotely: occlusion adjustment at your local dentist, antibiotics, video check-up. Only cases genuinely requiring surgical facilities (implant revision, graft) justify a second trip.

Documents to keep safe

Implant passport, post-op panoramic X-ray, medication prescription, signed warranty card: keep scanned copies on your phone. An emergency dentist will ask for them immediately.

A complication after return isn't abandonment. Coordinator 7/7, partner dentist in your country, return flight refunded under warranty: the real standard isn't never having complications, it's being equipped to handle them.
